kitsch -
pretentious, yet popular art or writing.
Greetings!
Hello, and welcome to my Homepage. As the title says, these pages are mostly devoted to kitsch, useful (and sometimes useless) tidbits of information. I have tried to weed out the trivial and less pertinent facets of homepages that are so common elsewhere, but as you can see I do enjoy my share of 'kitsch'. Like most pages, this one is constantly undergoing continuous revision so I won't make any excuses as to how well the links are functioning. However, I hope you will take the time to examine some of my sites and information I have posted. This Homepage is designed primarily to help with my research here at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. If you have any comments or remarks concerning this page, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by.

How about a big round of applause to the BYU football team (14-1 overall) winners of the Cotton Bowl on January 1st. It was a great game against Kansas State, but BYU proved who the better team was. At season's end, BYU was ranked 5th in the nation. Their record this year set a new NCAA record.
Congratulations to our friends, Darrell and Tammy Bevell. They are proud new parents to Kylie Sue Bevell, born October 2, 1996. She was born around 9:00 am and was 20 inches long and weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces. I always told Darrell he was going to have a girl first.
Congratulations also to our friends Brad and Liz Hokanson who are also celebrating the birth of their first child, Sarah Jane
Hokanson. She was born September 30, 1996 at 9:15 pm. She was 21 inches long and weighed 9 pounds and 9 ounces.
Maybe now our son, Calvin will have someone to date when he's older.
