Setting Up Icecast2 for Windows

As many people have discovered, one of the beauties of open source is that it is easily portable to other platforms. Icecast2 is no different. A Windows version is available for those users more comfortable using Windows, or who work or ethical reasons have decided on Windows as their platform of choice. The response I have gotten to from those who have installed and used the Windows version has been very positive.

This section is still pending completion. If anyone is familiar with the setup and installation of icecast under Windows, feel free to contribute to this section.

The next chapter examines the configuration settings for both the icecast.xml and ices.xml files. These include the different settings needed for streaming both static as well as live audio over the Internet.
